Early Fall Wilderness Elk Hunts - An early fall elk hunt is always a special time to be in the Rocky Mountains.
With an array of lush green pines and vivid yellow aspens under a royal blue western sky, you’ll definitely want to snap a photo or two as you pursue one of the most majestic animals around.
This hunt is bow only and conducted out of our wilderness tent camps. You will be hunting in the 7,000 to 10,000 foot elevation. The draws are steep, so you need to be in your best physical condition.
The elk herds are doing well; you’ll see bulls ranging from 250-400 class. Your chance of harvesting a nice trophy is excellent and our guides have what it takes to lead you to that bull of a lifetime.
These hunts are 8 or 10 day packages with 6 or 8 days of hunting. We also offer 8 day drop camps. Hunt dates are September 1st through 31st. Deer
or bear may be combined with these hunts. Apply on line for areas 37 and 37A.
We also offer a guided controlled hunt for bull elk and muzzleloader mule deer. High percentage kill on these hunts. Call for dates and controlled hunt number.
