Winter Mountain Lion and Bobcat - We begin our big cat hunts from the ranch/lodge, where you will be staying, which allows us to be as mobile as possible. Once our guides pick up a hot trail, we must get on it right away. These hunts can be very exciting. Being face to face with a huge mountain lion is an experience you will never forget, but it is all part of your challenge in harvesting one of these illusive creatures. We’ve taken large trophies over the years, and according to our scouting reports, this should be another excellent season.
Unless otherwise planned, our lion/bobcat hunts consist of an 8 day package: First day prep, 6 days of the hunt and one day pack up. The lion hunts begin in early December and run through February. You may apply for your license on line by contacting the Idaho Fish and Game at www.idahofishandgame.com and apply for 37, 37A.
