Spring Color Phase Bear Hunts - Among all the big game we pursue, bear hunting may be the most productive. Gary Madsen has had many years of experience hunting bear. He and his guides know exactly how to set you up for a big bruin. All bear hunts begin from the ranch/lodge. After a hearty breakfast with a great morning cup of coffee, you’ll be ready to hit the saddle. You’ll ride up one of the spectacular canyons and hunt over bait, or spot and stalk your bear. These animals range in color phase from blond, cinnamon, brown to black. The hunts are 8 day packages with 6 days of hunting. The season begins in May and runs through mid June.
