RIFLE & BOW HUNTS FOR ELK
Pack in by horseback to bow hunt for big bull elk during rut season in units, 37A, 37, & 51. This hunt is in some of Idaho’s best units for big bull elk. You will see bull’s in the 250 to 400 class during your hunt. All hunts are from a tent camp with good meals, horses and experienced local guides provided. Deer or Bear may also be combined on this hunt. Drop camps for elk in September are also available for Bow Hunters. Hunt dates are September and October.
MULE DEER AND WHITETAIL HUNTS
Join us for a trophy mule deer hunt you won’t forget. In units 37,& 37-A you may choose rifle or muzzleloader for that perfect shot, hunt is by horseback . Horses, guides and meals will be provided. Whitetail hunting is new to the area and offers a chance at a good buck in the river bottoms of the Pahsimeroi River. Based from the house, all meals provided. Hunting is done from permanent stands. Hunt dates are October & November.
COUGAR HUNTS
Personally guided by owner Gary Madsen, you hunt the majestic cougar in units –37 &-37-A-. These are Idaho’s top areas for cougar. We’ve taken several record book cougars over the years. Hunters may choose rifle, bow, pistol or cameras for the shot of your life. Hunts are based from my house, and are in December, January & February with good weather conditions.
SPRING BEAR HUNTS
During May and June we offer a spring bear hunt that you won’t want to miss. In units 37, 37-A we hunt by spot and stalk or bait and hound methods. Spring bear are mostly black or brown but cinnamon and blond are common in these areas. Join us and hunt where these big bears live, for an 8-day trip. These hunts are based from my house, with all meals provided.
SUMMER PACK TRIPS
On our summer trips we take you into the high country where you will see elk, deer and mountain goats on their summer range. We’ll take you into Yellow Lake and visit streams where you can enjoy fishing for cutthroat and rainbow trout. This is a beautiful summer trip you won’t want to miss. You choose the days you wish to spend in the mountains and the horses, meals, tents and guides will be furnished. Trips dates are booked in July and August.
